How do you enter?

Start with the current Championship event inside eFootball and read its entry conditions. Championship 2027 has Club Event, Open and Local Event qualification routes, with 24 World Finals places in each of the console and mobile divisions. The $300,000 total prize pool is a competitive fund, not a reward promised to everyone who enters.

KONAMI announced the season on October 8, 2026, beginning with FC Internazionale Milano. Before building a squad for a qualifier, check that the event is active on your platform and that your residence and connection location meet its rules.

Club Event, Open and Local Events: which route fits you?

The three announced qualification routes

Participation checklist: from finding the event to entering

Update and open the game. Look for the currently active Championship event rather than an old season’s page.
Read the event details before playing. Record its window, device rules, squad conditions and the requirement for progression.
Check eligibility. Review your real residence, accessing country and the official region list. Do not reset a correct country to experiment.
Check the next round separately. Playing an initial in-game round is not proof that you have qualified for a regional or club final.
Use only official registration instructions. This guide does not establish a universal web registration form for every route. Follow the current event notice or a linked official organizer.

A practical squad check is to compare the exact cards you own in the player database and save eligible roles in Team Builder. A strong lineup still needs to satisfy the event’s specific roster rules.

Country restrictions and a missing Championship event

The residence notice says tournament eligibility considers registered residence and where you access the game. If required countries are outside the Area List, an event may not appear or allow participation. The October 9 clarification also identifies the in-game “Other Countries/Regions” setting as a possible Club Event blocker.

The Championship site additionally excludes players with Russian or Belarusian nationality and residents of Brazil under 18. Check the current rules for your event rather than assuming a regional list alone settles eligibility. It groups competition regions as Europe & Africa, Americas, Asia (West), and Asia (East), Oceania & other areas.

For a missing event, check its dates and platform first, then the residence and regional conditions. Correct inaccurate details only after reading the 180-day reset warning. The country-change guide provides the menu paths. A visible event with failed connections needs the separate connection checks.

Mobile versus console: how does qualification work?

The season announcement expands the World Finals from 16 to 24 competitors per division for both mobile and console. Do not read that as 24 combined places or assume mobile players join the console bracket.

The game is available on PC too, but availability of the game and eligibility for a specific tournament stage are different questions. The checked overview describes two finals divisions, not a separate PC finals division. PC players should check the device rules for each round, including any later-stage hardware requirement, before making travel or qualification plans.

The current Inter route

The official Inter announcement describes regional online qualifiers followed by club finals, with the best mobile and console player becoming the club’s World Finals representatives. Its schedule graphic lists these 2026 dates: Rounds 1 and 2, October 8–15; Round 3, October 15–19; Club Regional Qualifiers, October 31; Club Finals online, November 28. Exact opening and closing times still need the in-game notice.

Announced schedule: what is dated and what is still a roadmap?

The official season graphic shows the following broad timing. Month-level roadmap markers are not exact registration deadlines.

Showdown is separate. The v6.1.0 version page schedules its first day for October 16. Do not use a Showdown PvP event listing as Championship registration or assume its rewards grant a World Finals place.

Prize pool, Show Time rewards and Club Tour

KONAMI’s October 8 release raises the total prize pool from $100,000 to $300,000. It also announces special Show Time rewards for top placements in the in-game Round 3 Ranking Event and a Club Tour invitation for Club Finals winners, including a stadium visit and match attendance.

Those are different rewards with different qualifying conditions. Do not budget for a cash payout, a particular card or a trip just because you played the opening round. The checked release does not provide a full per-place cash breakdown or guarantee a Show Time reward to every participant.

Is Open registration available now?

The Open route and roadmap are announced. Use the current official qualifier notice to confirm an active entry window; an announced future round is not open registration today.

Does “worldwide” mean every account is eligible?

No. The regional, residence and specific event restrictions still apply.

Can a beginner try a Club Event?

The Inter announcement welcomes players of different levels. Check the entry conditions; joining the first stage does not guarantee progression.

Where are the World Finals?

The checked sources establish summer 2027 and show July on the roadmap, but do not establish a 2027 venue. Do not reuse a previous season’s location.
