eFootball build planner by role
This planner gives role-based priorities, not invented universal point allocations. Exact costs and available points depend on the player card.
How player progression works in eFootball
Players earn experience and level up through matches or Level Training Programs. Leveling provides Progression Points, which can be allocated in Player Progression. Konami also provides Auto-allocate for players who prefer an automatic distribution.
A custom build changes the emphasis. A winger used to create chances may need passing and dribbling, while the same card used as an inside forward may need more finishing. Always judge the final build against the card version and its intended position.
Auto-allocate vs custom builds
Auto-allocate is the simplest starting point and is designed around Overall Rating. A custom build is useful when OVR does not reflect your tactical goal—for example, prioritizing recovery speed on a centre-back or tight possession on a midfielder.
- Use Auto-allocate when you want a quick, balanced setup.
- Use a custom build when the player has one clearly defined role.
- Keep enough physical and stamina support for the position.
- Test before assuming that a higher displayed OVR means better in-game performance.
A repeatable build process
- Open the exact player card and note its position, level limit, skills, and strongest attributes.
- Define one job: scorer, creator, ball carrier, ball winner, cover defender, or goalkeeper.
- Allocate toward the attributes used most often in that job.
- Check speed, balance, stamina, and physical contact so the build still works across a full match.
- Save or note the allocation and test it in the formation you actually use.
Why copied builds can fail
Two cards with the same player name may have different base ratings, positions, boosters, level limits, and available progression. A build copied from another version can therefore spend the wrong amount or create a different result. Verify the card image and starting ratings before copying any eFootball build.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best eFootball player build?
There is no universal best build. The strongest allocation depends on the exact card, its level limit, position, skills, and the role it plays in your tactic.
Does Auto-allocate give the best build?
Auto-allocate is a useful balanced starting point, but a custom build may suit a specialized role better than an allocation focused on Overall Rating.
Can player progression be reset?
Konami provides a Player Progression reset option. Check the current in-game screen for the cost or any active free-reset campaign because conditions can change.
Why does the same player have different builds?
Different card versions can have different base stats, level limits, positions, boosters, and progression budgets.
